My name is Stefanos Matsoukalidis, and I am a professional videographer and certified drone operator based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Although my academic background is in computer programming, photography was what truly captured my interest and eventually became the starting point of my professional journey into video production and aerial cinematography.
Years of experience have taught me to look beyond simply creating a beautiful image. I am always searching for the moment, the detail, or the perspective that can evoke emotion and tell a story. Whether I am capturing a personal moment, a social event, a hotel, a commercial property, a concert, or an artistic project, my goal is for every production to have its own distinctive character and visual identity.
An important milestone in my career was receiving recognition at the Flow Film Festival 2018, a short film competition featuring films created exclusively with drones. For me, this distinction confirmed that aerial imagery can be much more than an impressive shot — it can become a powerful tool for creative storytelling.
My collaborations with hotels and professionals in the tourism and real estate industries, as well as with cultural and artistic organizations, have given me the opportunity to create visual content for a wide range of projects, audiences, and communication needs.
Since 2019, I have been collaborating with the Cultural Center of the Region of Central Macedonia, providing aerial coverage and producing visual content for the Eptapyrgio Festival. In 2026, I began a new collaboration with Moni Lazariston, providing aerial coverage and video production for the Moni Lazariston Festival.
My goal is to create visual stories with character, purpose, and a strong aesthetic identity.
